Excellent sequel

This is that rare thing - a sequel that's better than the original. Even steamier than Cassandra's Conflict, it also lacks the elements of its predecessor that I found slightly distasteful. Since Katya has gone, there is much less very hard-core S&M, and since it's set in France the children don't appear so there is none of the slight abuse of them (not allowing them drinks or to go to the loo - which I found rather off-putting).

I cared about both Cassandra and Nicola and couldn't decide which of them I wanted to win. I also hoped the loser, whoever she was, would find someone good to go off with!

There are tantalising hints of a possible opening for a sequel at the end. This is pure speculation, I've heard nothing, but I hope she writes one at some point!

I bought this along with Cassandra's Conflict (you must to order them together or you will regret having to wait to continue the story) and started it as soon as I had finished the first one.

The story in this one is a virtual flip on the first one where Cassandra is trying her hardest to be the Baron's new plaything but this time there is an even younger girl vying for the Baron's sole attention. This is full of punishments and competitions between the females involved with the ultimate goal of being the Baron's Mistress.

Does Cassandra win? You will need to buy it to find out!

Dark, sexy and compelling

This is the first erotic novel I have ever purchased and I am glad that it was this one!

I completely enjoyed this novel from beginning to end. The sex scenes and story line were perfectly balanced and the slightly perverse nature of particular characters made the book just that bit more intriguing!

Even though the basis of the book is sex, I did feel that I became attached to the characters, due to how well the book is written. The story line flowed very well and left you wanting more.

The sex scenes were hot in a very naughty way and I don't think I'm the only girl who wishes that the Baron would come visit them one night!

I'll be honest when I say that the only reason I put this book down was because of the frustration that was building up inside me. There were quite a few times where I went to bother my other half during a chapter!

Even though I found the book very sexy, there are things that were written that I wouldn't try myself. However, the way the book is written still makes the things you wouldn't try seem very hot!

I loved the book so much I passed it on to a friend and she agrees with me wholeheartedly, this is the best erotica she has read.

I wouldn't recommend this to a person who isn't a fan of BDSM or the more hardcore aspects of sex but for those who do enjoy this, or even enjoy just fantasizing, then this book is 100% for you!
