Not quite as masculine as I hoped for
Reviewed: July 7, 2014 by matnem, a Straight Married Male
I recently received these from LH. As usual, the parcel was discreet and the package inside was padded so as to not reveal the contents.
I opened the parcel to reveal the package inside. The briefs come in a small clear plastic envelope with a small tag attached. And honestly, that's where they stayed for a couple of days.
One morning I had to leave the house early with my wife, so I got my smart jeans out (I like to make an effort for her!) and I thought about these briefs. I quickly removed them from the packaging, slipped into them, got dressed and ran out of the house.
So - the first thing I notice is that the briefs are remarkably comfortable. I mean like being wrapped in cotton wool comfort. The front area has a pouch cut which holds and supports your boy bits without crushing them back into your body as some briefs do. I still got the riding up the bum problem that I get with most pants, but these didn't seem to cause as much discomfort (read "wedgey") when that happened. I'm a 32,5" waist (trust me, that .5 IS important) and the S/M were a perfect fit for me.
When I got home, I changed into some shorts and a t-shirt because I have the builders in and I wanted to help out with some of the work.
Okay - DO NOT wear these briefs with loose trousers around builders because you will whale tail when you bend over - and it's not a good thing. Seriously, wolf whistles were the least of my problems.
Come evening, and I want to show these off to my SO - I strip down and pull the Michaelangelo's David pose. My wife was in fits of giggles saying that I was wearing woman's knickers! Feeling slightly emasculated, we looked online at pictures of girls in Tanga Briefs and these are kind of them.
What the pictures don't show is that the briefs are slightly transparent. There is a vertical linear pattern in the fabric which kind of looks a little shear. The other thing that is not clear in the picture is that the waist line is only about 15mm wide. Both myself and my wife agree that if there was a big thick 5cm wide waist linethen these would be a lot more manly.
Okay - would I wear them again? Most definitely - these are by far the MOST comfortable pants that I have ever worn! However, I will only be wearing them with a belt and long shirt and NEVER in low slung shorts in front of tradesmen.
Would these initiate sexy times? Most certainly not! There is nothing sexy about your wife giggling at your boy bits.
- Very comfortable.
- Slightly feminine.
- Bottom line
- Comfortable but not sexy.
