    1. Totally worth it

Reviewed: December 1, 2013 by Delboy1991, a Straight Going Steady Female

After already having a mint one, we were lucky enough to try this.

It comes in the usual Lovehoney discreet packaging, so nobody knows what it is. ;)

We got straight to work that night and could wait to try it. You have to pump a couple of times to get it up the tube, but once you have it comes out straight away. You only need 3 squirts at the back of your throat for it to go completely numb, but even if your a beginner you will notice a difference from just one spray.

It definitely does what it says, helps the gag reflex and numbs the whole area.

I didn't really know what to expect with it being strawberry flavour as sometimes they can be a bit sickly and sweet, but this was perfect. Tastes like a strawberry ice lolly! Plus wasn't too thick. If you want something for smell, taste or your gag reflex, it's defiantly a must buy! And great value for money. The numbness lasts for about half a hour, and you can add another spray of needed. Whatever you find comfortable. Also brilliant for men for oral.

My OH also said it made his bits feel cold and tingly, which made it more sensitive. All in all we both loved it! I can't see us ever living without. It's no longer become a chore!

Tiny little downside. Before I used it I squirted it in the other direction to get it to pump up the tube, only for it to eventually squirt all over the bed. Which left a stain even after washing, although it's my own fault, just to warn people not to get it on the covers (or wherever else you would use it).

    1. A good alternate to flavoured lube

Reviewed: January 10, 2014 by Khaleesi, a Straight Going Steady Female

I was lucky enough to be picked as a tester for this product by Lovehoney. I was interested to see how this would compare to flavoured lubricant. Being a little sensitive down there, I have been sceptical about flavoured products in the past. I was pleasantly surprised by this and consider it to be a good alternative to flavoured lubricant.

I will start by saying this isn’t meant to be a numbing oral sex spray. So rather than spraying it into your mouth before oral, it’s best used during play to mix up massages and tantalise your taste buds!

When I did spray this directly into my mouth, I found it helped me salivate more, which led to a slippery and satisfying blow job for my OH! But the taste was a little too strong for me when it hit the back of my taste buds and was a little bit bitter.

When sprayed onto my OH’s body I found it to taste much better, although it didn’t last very long and needed a couple of re applications. However this is easy with the spray capped top and doesn’t take long.

The bottle design itself is subtle enough to be in your hand bag so I wouldn’t be too worried if it fell out while trying to get my purse out at the til in the supermarket.

Condom safe is an added bonus. Although condoms aren’t our predominant form on contraception any more, when they were I hated the taste of latex and found the taste of flavoured condoms to be unpleasant.

I was hesitant about using this product on me. I was worried it may upset my PH balance like flavoured lubricants have in the past. Because this doesn’t go internally and is only sprayed externally, I found this didn’t irritate me at all. My OH enjoyed the taste and I felt a lot more confident before oral sex began.

All in all a good product and worth an investment to make oral sex an even taster treat. ;)

Easy to apply, condom friendly, good taste, doesn't irritate PH balance.
      Cons
Taste doesn't last very long so needs re applying a few times.
      Bottom line
A good way to boost oral sex confidence.

    1. Surprisingly good, but not great

Reviewed: December 23, 2013 by DavidB1986, a Gay Married Male

As someone who enjoys sex, oral plays a big part in the bedroom for us. But sometimes, it can get a bit boring and you look for interesting ways to spice it up. Flavoured lubes can be great fun, but sometimes they can just be too sticky and just too much.

I've never tried an oral spray before, but I'm prepared to give anything a go! I received the Doc Johnson Good Head Oral Delight Spray (Liquid Chocolate) and when I opened the envelope, a small, fairly nondescript little spray bottle plopped into my lap. I opened up the lid to give it a little sniff and, firstly, I was over-whelmed by the artificial smell. It wasn't very chocolatey initially. However, if you take a step back, the aroma was actually surprisingly pleasant - almost like fresh baked cookies. I sprayed a little on my finger just to give it a little taste. Initially, I was greeted with a slight fizzy 'tang' which wasn't all that nice. But eventually, it turned into to sweet delicate chocolate flavour which wasn't all bad.

Gave it a try in the bedroom - got the OH good and ready and gave a little spray on the head and massaged it in a little bit and then went to work. Again, there was that slight fizzy feeling at first, it was almost bitter.. but once you get going, it softens and it's sweet without feeling too 'chemical'.

Did it really enhance the experience? For him, not so much. Complimented the smell of chocolate, but it didn't really add anything for him.

For me, well it didn't really add much to the experience either. Sure, it was sweet tasting, but it didn't really do much for me. Would have been perfectly happy without it.

Bottom line: It's not as bad tasting as you initially may think, and a little does go a long way, but personally, I think oral is better without it.

Didn't really add anything to the experience, initially quite bitter.
