    1. Silk lubricant that feels luxurious

Reviewed: July 20, 2015 by KinkyCatherine, a Straight Going Steady Female

ID are known for their good quality lubricants. I bought this one on a whim as I found it hard to decide which one would be best out of their range.

The idea of a silky lubricant sounded nice as it would make sexual exploits that much smoother, for both foreplay and actual sex.

The lube is in a squeeze bottle, which means it is easy to use a small amount at a time. Even better it is condom friendly, which is great for me and my partner as we prefer to use condoms to be on the safe side.

It is predominantly a water-based lube. Although most water-based lubes only last a short while, this one lasts longer, which is better for prolonged play, without having to reapply and use more.

I would recommend this lube. Just be prepared to pay a bit more compared to some other lubricants.

    2. Overall Rating:
      9 out of 10 stars
      Pros
It is smooth and thick, which means it lasts longer.
      Cons
Small bottle, only lasts so long.
      Bottom line
Lubricant to create silky smooth movements.

    1. Very Slippy

Reviewed: November 4, 2013 by Sum Sub, a Straight Married Male

This lube promises the best of both water-based and silicone-based lubes.

For those that don't know, silicone based lubes are generally longer lasting and leave your skin feeling silky, but shouldn't be used with silicone toys, which is what most high-end toys are made from. Water-based lubes are safe with silicone toys but suffer from evaporation and as such are less long-lasting.

In my experience, silicone lubes are my favourite, and water-based lubes are a necessity rather than a preferred choice.

      So what of this lube?

In texture it is a lot like water-based lube. It feels like water-based and it smells like water based lube.

In performance, my first impressions was that it was more like water-based lube than silicone, which I was a little disheartened at.

However, once we had been using it a little, it became obvious that it was a lot longer lasting than regular water based lube.

So why was my first impression negative - I think I just didn't use enough at first. With silicone lube, a little goes a long way, and I applied the usual silicone amount, however once I increased the quantity it was just fine, although probably not as much as if I was using water-based lube.

After use, my skin was left with the siliconey feeling.

So in summary, you need to use a little more than you would with silicone lube and a little less than with water-based lube, but you really do get the best of both worlds.

      Happy to recommend it.

    2. Overall Rating:
      9 out of 10 stars
      Pros
It strikes a happy medium between water and silicone lubes.
      Cons
Would prefer a bigger bottle as I think this will be regularly used!
      Bottom line
      Recommended. :)
