L'Amourose Denia Rechargeable G-Spot and Clitoral Vibrator
Reviewed: February 13, 2016 by Talia
The L'Amourose Denia is my favourite toy for now. I absolutely adore its vibrations and I like or can live with all the rest.
The vibrations are the rumbliest of all my toys. I often see comparisons between L'Amourose and Lelo, but I don't know where they come from: For me the only similarity is the ridiculous “luxury” packaging (more to that later). Regarding the vibrations, the Denia is in a completely different league – it plays for the national championship, the Mona 2 is in regional competitions.
Unlike the Happy Rabbit 2 (vibration-wise that's my second favourite) the Denia starts with rather mild vibrations whose intensity can be increased by pushing the + button (and then decreased with the – button, which also switches the toy off if you press if long enough). The third button (between the two others) has a wave symbol and changes the patterns: Constant speed in shaft and clit stimulator, constant speed in only the shaft (though the clit arm vibrates a bit from the shaft's motor), constant speed in only the clit arm, vibrations changing between main shaft and clit arm, same change but faster, pulsating shaft and constant vibration in the clit arm – and then I'm not sure what happens... I've only made the list for this review, when I'm actually using the toy I generally stick with constant speed or possibly move up to the change between the arms. Unfortunately there is no way to go back to a pattern when one has pushed the button too often – I generally switch off completely (by pressing the minus button) and then start again at constant speed (there's no memory of the last setting)
The buttons are one of the Denia's weaker points: They are hidden under the silicone and you need sensitive fingertips to feel the little symbols embossed on it. This was originally a reason for me to not buy this toy (then I got a deal I couldn't resist), but in use it turns out it's not as bad as it sounds: My fingertips are sensitive enough and the buttons are far enough apart so that I can change settings by feel when the toy is inserted. The button situation could be better, but I can live with it as it is.
The Denia's shape works very well for me: My clit likes pressure, and it gets it. In the right place if I push the toy just a little bit, which is a vast improvement over my other rabbits. I don't mind the flat base, but then I mostly use the Denia hands-free (apart from a finger to push it in the perfect position) – once it's inserted I find it stays very well in place.
The noise level is okay – louder than the Mona 2, but much quieter than the Happy Rabbit 2. I would not hesitate using it under the duvet, with the door closed, if there were people in the next room (regardless of the thickness of the walls and door).
Charging the empty battery takes something like 3 to 4 hours with my Continental European mains charger. It seems different from the UK version in that it consists of a wall adapter with USB connector and a USB cable to the toy's black diamond base (meaning I could charge my Denia with my laptop and could use the wall adapter for another toy with USB cable). Using the black diamond base charger is a bit of a hassle – the toy needs to be positioned just right and the connection is easily disturbed. It is one way to get a waterproof toy, though... When the battery is charging the wave symbol flashes slowly, when it is fully charged the symbol glows constantly. When the battery runs low during use the symbol starts to flash quickly.
Now to the packaging: It's perfectly useless, even worse than Lelo's. The design is vertical and the upper part of the box slides over the lower part, which is only about one quarter of the total height. If you are not careful when unpacking the contents risk falling out. With the toy and its charger come an authenticity card (offering 18 months warranty after registration on the L'Amourose web site), a not very helpful multi-language user manual (it lists neither the patterns nor the technical specifications of the battery), and a sachet of lube which I have not tested as I prefer my Sliquid (keeping the sachet for travel, though – it's without glycerin and parabens and will do in a pinch). By the way, the Denia is small enough and the silicone is so smooth that I don't even need lube when I'm really aroused. Oh yes, there's also a storage bag consisting of a velvety outside layer and an inner lining in some silky material. I consider all of that superfluous, but I suppose it helps to justify the list price, which is certainly the biggest drawback of the L'Amourose Denia.
- Wonderful deep, rumbly vibrations, shape is good for me (including the handle).
- High price, manual not informative enough.
- Bottom line
- A very, very good toy - if you can afford it!

I've fallen for Denia
Reviewed: January 6, 2016 by Echo32B
I had no idea I even wanted the Denia till it came up on sale. I had been so blinded by the hefty price tag that I had completely overlooked it as a toy. I’m guilty of being very lazy with my orgasms, so I tend to opt for rabbit style toys that provide G-spot and clitoral stimulation in one. The Denia is technically in that category but a great change from the usual form. I had heard a lot about the rumbly-ness of Lamourose toys, so having had trouble in the past with buzzy toys ‘making me numb before I can cum’ it didn’t take long for me to realise I was destined to own the Denia.
This is my first ‘luxury toy’ and I have to say the experience of receiving, owning and getting to put something really expensive in my vagina has been amazing. The packaging is a solid and sleek black box, with the logo embossed in gold on the front. Inside is your toy, the docking station for charging, some ‘intimate’ lube, storage bag, a very brief instruction manual and a warranty card.
It took a few hours to charge fully, and I spent that time staring at the Denia and pondering its relatively diminutive size. The shape is damn near perfect, with a great curve to the shaft, I could see it wasn’t going to impale my G-spot, just rest itself firmly against it.
The Denia rests on the charging dock, instead of actually being plugged in, and I kept hearing a quiet but very high pitched electrical whine from it. I’d get up and re position the Denia, only for it to start this noise again a few minutes later. I don’t know if this is normal, but it is fairly annoying.
The silicone is very smooth on the Denia, possibly the best feeling silicone I’ve come across so far. I suggest lubing the Denia up anyway even though it’s small and sleek because you may like me have trouble getting it in and positioning it. Despite the ‘shift and flex’ technology I found it really unforgiving when I was attempting to insert it, there is not much room between the shaft and the clitoral arm, so more flex would have been better.
Once inserted the Denia feels fairly clamped in place, I could stand up and not worry about it falling out. This is because of the shape and the lack of room between the shaft and arm. It also means the clitoral arm is very firmly pushed against you which may be a pro or a con depending on your personal preference. Since I like both very firm pressure and feather light touch, it’s not a negative to me, but I would have preferred some level of control over it (with a traditional rabbit, I can do either by changing the angle I hold it). The shaft also pulls itself in firmly against your G-spot which feels great and it rests at the perfect hight for me.
I don’t have to hold the Denia in place, but it’s still comfortable to hold the base if I want to which is a vast improvement on traditional rabbit handles that can be a pain to hold at that awkward angle. I quiet like to sit up on the bed and rock back and forth on the base. Which when lubed up is pleasurable even without the vibrations on. This is not really something you can thrust with, but I don’t think it’s even remotely necessary as this toy has so much else to offer.
The buttons are simple, and no cycling through power settings (yay!), as it has plus and minus buttons. It does have patterns too and these do have to be cycled. I don’t tend to like patterns, but there are some interesting ones on there and of course it’s a big positive being able to change to have either the shaft or arm on instead of both.
THE RUMBLE. I love its rumbly-rumble goodness! Honestly, second setting was enough to tip me over the edge in a matter of minutes, and I find it quite tough to orgasm usually. I’ve only been up to the highest settings with it in my hand because it’s just too powerful for me, but I can report it gets rumblier rather than buzzier as the vibrations get stronger. Once or twice the Denia seemed to turn itself off during on my first use, but it hasn’t happened since. I actually squirted with this, for only the fourth time in my life, which I wasn’t expecting as usually I need a very pronounced G-spot curve and rigid material. Good job the Denia is waterproof really!
The vibrations are not whisper quiet, but they still fall in the quiet category, on the higher settings it does get a tiny bit louder, but really you would not hear it through a closed door.
I wish they had scaled the Denia up just a little bit, without changing the shape, just so I could have a slightly bigger shaft and more room between the shaft and the clitoral arm. But then again if they had, I’d probably never leave my bedroom, because the Denia would then be the Holy Grail of sex toys for me. Anatomically we are all very different but I would suggest only buying this if you like firm pressure on your clitoris, because that seems quite unavoidable with the Denia.
The Denia has made its way to the top of my very vast list. I will always come with the Denia, and that’s not an easy accomplishment for any toy. Amazing for my G-spot, clitoris, hands free and able to make me squirt. What more could a girl ask for?
- The rumbly vibrations, the design, the silicone!
- Not much room between the shaft and clitoral arm.
- Bottom line
- My first luxury toy. I have to say it's been worth every penny so far.

Move over Lelo, there's a new king on the block

Move over Lelo, there is a new boss in town and there is no messing with this French connoisseur of sexual pleasure!
It’s like L’Amourose have opened up my inner thoughts of sexual desire and made them into a silicone god of power. Okay, okay, maybe that’s an over statement but WOW, L’amourose has impressed me so far. After reviewing the l'amourose denia L’amourose Rosa Rouge, I really didn’t think anything else could meet my needs.
But I was proved wrong.
The Denia is strong and hits the spot with ease. It is flexible and both the ear and shaft will stretch to fit the person that is using it.
I did find the operational buttons were a tad icky to deal with in use but over time, I seemed get use to this.
The rabbit ear still didn't rock my world but at the end of the day, it felt much better than your average rabbit without feeling like I was being hammered with a blunt spoon!
The Denia's dual motor really can be felt, if you like your power tools and rabbits, then this is the vibrator for you.
- Strong, good material, hit the spot.
- The ear.
- Bottom line
- Left me wanting more.

Ultra Powerful Dual Stimulator
Reviewed: July 21, 2014 by Spoonerism, a Bisexual Engaged Female
L’Amourose is still a comparatively unknown maker of luxury silicone sex toys. However, their Rosa G-spot and prostate vibrator has been making waves among reviewers over at the Lovehoney forum for its super powerful vibrations. When the opportunity came up to test the Denia, a dual stimulating clitoral and G-spot vibrator, I was SO excited.
First off, the packaging is impressive - definitely on par with LELO. The Denia comes in a gorgeous matte black cardboard box secured with a ribbon. Inside is the toy, standing on its charging dock, along with a velvety storage bag, charging cable (mine came with a UK plug), instruction manual and warranty card.
The toy itself is absolutely beautiful. Mine is a lovely shade of plum with L’Amourose’s trademark black ‘cut diamond’ style base. The silicone is soft and seamless with just a little more drag than my LELO Ella.
To charge the Denia you simply plug in the charger and stand the toy in its charging dock until the light stops blinking. This is really straight forward if not the most discreet thing to have sat around while it charges for an hour or so. As the toy charges via magnetic contact points on the bottom, it is a sealed unit and therefore totally waterproof. The buttons are under the silicone and indicated by a + and -, which are for adjusting the intensity, with a yin and yang symbol in the middle which changes the pattern.
This is the one of the strongest vibrators I have ever used, second only to the Lovehoney Deluxe Magic Wand, and definitely the strongest rechargeable one. Like the wand, even on the first setting you can tell how deep and rumbly the vibrations are, particularly from the insertable shaft which has a slightly stronger motor than the one in the clitoral arm.
The first time I used the toy I was a bit too eager to see how these epic vibrations would feel and turned it up far too high too soon and just numbed myself which left me disappointed. I know I don’t need an excessive amount of power to get me off so going numb was entirely my fault for getting over excited!
The next couple of times I tried it I was having quite a severe PMS episode (I didn’t know that was the problem at the time as my contraception has all but stopped my periods, the emphasis being on the ‘all but’), so things downstairs weren’t feeling quite right or responding in their usual way. When I finally reached orgasm I had a big cry and decided I hated the toy, which was again not its fault, just my silly hormonal vagina being a drama queen! A few days later when I was feeling a bit more reasonable, I decided to give the Denia its second or third chance…and it absolutely blew my socks off!
The thing I like the most about the Denia is the shape and size of the insertable part. It sort of hooks itself round underneath my pubic bone and settles against my G-Spot and just stays there and I find it is girthy enough to be filling. Usually I like a bit of movement there but with the intense vibrations of this toy it can just stay there and it does the job. I had never orgasmed from internal vibrations before this toy - now I can totally see why everyone is raving about the Rosa. L’Amourose have definitely got a thing going here.
The clitoral stimulator again is really powerful and I can get off using the toy with the shaft turned off. For me it could be a little longer but I’m just being picky. The toy has ‘Flex and Shift Technology’ which I thought would be more of a fancy function (something like having a button to press and bits would bend like with the Je Joue G-Kii2) but all it really means is the clit stim and shaft are moderately flexible in order to accommodate differently proportioned vulvas.
I thought this was a bit rubbish at first as I just couldn’t get the clitoral stimulator to be comfortable, even with it ‘flexing’ (I was pressing it into my body and as the toy is quite rigid this was too ‘proddy’). With some experimentation though I found a way of holding the toy with my finger looped under the clit arm, lifting it slightly while still having another finger on the controls. When the whole toy is inserted it can stay in its place hands free so having to focus on holding onto the clit stim the whole time isn’t really any extra bother. Basically, it was a faff finding a way of holding the Denia so that it could do both of its intended jobs without it prodding bits uncomfortably as it’s really not the most ergonomic of toys, but there is a definite technique and it is definitely worth persevering with.
The clitoral stimulation accompanied by the amazing internal vibrations make for some seriously impressive blended orgasms. I honestly thought I’d become quite a pro at giving myself blended orgasms for some time, however having experienced one from the Denia I’m now reassessing that claim.
I don’t usually care much for toys with patterns and normally just keep them on the constant vibration setting, however the ones the Denia has really impressed me. They all alternate between the shaft and the clit stim at different frequencies (something I hadn’t experienced before with a dual stimulator) and can have their intensity altered the same way as the constant vibration setting. The one that alternates really quickly caught me by surprise while I was experimenting at its highest intensity and I actually had no choice but to orgasm!
It’s not really a negative point but I’ll say it anyway; because of the power I find I have to make sure I’m really aroused before I reach for this toy. The first time when I went a bit over board not only numbed me but afterwards my clit felt really sore and a little raw. It took a few days for everything to return to normal. This is entirely my fault for being overzealous and possibly not lubed up enough. It hasn’t happened since but still, be careful with this one guys, in the wrong hands it can be aggressive!
This might be an odd thing to mention, but ladies with a little extra tummy might struggle to be able to reach this toy in use as the controls are very close to the body, so something with a proper handle may be more beneficial (perhaps check out the LELO Ina 2). I’m plus size (a UK16) and sometimes find it hard or uncomfortable to reach the unit while it’s inside me. I just might have short arms and not have realised it though!
The controls also bug me a bit as they’re the under the silicone type and are only indicated by tiny raised symbols in the silicone. Once lube is involved it is very hard to local the correct button. I find it best to locate them before inserting the toy and then just not moving my fingers. If you have a partner around they should be able to see and adjust the setting for you.
As the Denia is totally waterproof it can be used in the bath or shower and is a doddle to clean. Just be careful that it is fully dry before putting it on charge. For its power level it is really quiet once inserted.
Overall, I am pretty impressed with this toy and brand. It is everything you’d expect of a luxury toy of its price tag really. As with all dual stimulators there’s a chance it might not fit your body but that’s just the chance you have to take with this sort of toy (although I’ve only met one so far that didn’t suit me). I personally don’t NEED the level of power this toy puts out but oh my god, do I enjoy it when I’m in the right mood!
- It's so powerful and produces some incredible orgasms.
- Awkward to manoeuvre and a bit aggressive if I'm not in the mood.
- Bottom line
- A beautiful, quiet, ultra powerful dual stimulator.

I had been considering upgrading my rabbit vibrator for some time and put a lot of thought into it before I ultimately decided on the L'Amourose Denia. Not really a rabbit, but very much the same idea.
It arrived so beautifully packaged. Enclosed in a sturdy black box and tied by a black ribbon. Just the experience of opening the packaging was luxurious before you even get to the toy inside!
It came with a velvet storage pouch which had the L'Amourose logo detailed onto it. You get simple instructions in a variety of languages. Also packaged is the gorgeous charging stand and charger. The charger has a UK plug but it can be converted with the right adaptor. You also get a card of authenticity and a sample of lube.
The silicone is the most beautifully soft I have ever felt. It is also completely seamless. I literally sat stroking it for a few minutes before putting it on to charge.
It sits perfectly on the black diamond design charger. It initially took about 3 hours to reach its full charge. Whilst charging it shows a flashing light and once charged the light stops flashing and becomes constant.
Once charged, I excitedly lathered the shaft in water-based lube (make sure you never use silicone lubricant with this toy) and in it didn't quite go. More lube and I tried again. A wriggle here and there. Still no luck. A new position? Nope, access denied. After a full body workout I managed to get it in but I was left with aching lady bits. Not quite what I had in mind.
The clitoral arm was well placed but I needed to add lubricant to that region too or it would drag. I found the bulbed head of the clitoral vibe could be a bit painful too as it is hard and dug into me a bit more then I would like.
Now I'm pretty sure it's not the size of this toy that caused the issue, but rather the shape. It just didn't mold to my body in the way it is supposed to. I did give this toy another go just to be sure and had the same issue. Both times I did reach my goal but only by using the clitoral vibrator alone. Since I already have a couple of great clitoral vibes though it doesn't have any real use for me.
One of the reasons I am so disappointed that this wasn't the right shape for me was the vibrations. If you like powerful, deep, rumbling vibrations then this would be ideal. I've never known a toy rumble like it. The vibrations of the clitoral part almost match up to my We-Vibe Tango which is certainly no easy feat especially for a 'rabbit' style toy. There are a great variety of vibration patterns too. One of them makes it mimic the feel of a thrusting toy. You can also utilise each of the motors.
The noise level, considering the strength of the vibrations, is fantastic. This could definitely come under the category of a quiet toy. With the door shut and the vibrations not too high, no one would ever know what was going on behind the door.
Despite the unfortunate fact I am having to use Lovehoney's amazing returns policy, I still would recommend giving this toy a try. It's a really powerful, quality toy. I think you just can't know whether it will fit your body without trying it out. And it is definitely worth trying!
- Powerful, luxury silicone, beautiful packaging, quiet.
- Wasn't the right shape for me.
- Bottom line
- I just wish so much it fit the shape of my body.
