I love this mask! I think it is quite possibly one of the best Catwoman masks I've laid eyes on, and I couldn't contain my excitement when it arrived on my desk for working on.

As soon as I took it out of its bag I couldn't resist putting it straight on and seeing if it looked as good on as I hoped. The good news is it does!

I will say that it can be a little fiddly to get on "just right", but once you've faffed and adjusted it in all the right places it's perfect. I have short hair, which I think made getting the mask on a little easier, so if you have long hair I'd recommend pulling your hair into a low ponytail to get it on to begin with.

The mask itself sits over the top half of your face (as you can see in the photos) and covers your ears, which could be good for anyone who wants to wear this in the bedroom for sensory deprivation play.

The most fiddly bit to get right is the band which goes over your cheeks and nose. To get the eye holes to sit correctly you need to tug the latex down a little, and if you tug too far it springs back a little, giving you an upturned piggy nose (NOT something Catwoman would approve of, I'm sure!). Once you've managed to get that sorted, though, it's spot on.

I'd recommend slipping this hood on after applying any makeup and letting it sit on your head without fiddling for around 10 minutes to warm the rubber. As it warms it will become less tight and be much easier to shift about into the best position. Be prepared to touch up your makeup after you've done this as it can get a little sweaty. Don't let this put you off, though - it really wasn't a bother at all. It's not like you're pouring with sweat - just a little... moist! If you want to make things even easier, dust your forehead (and if you can stand it, hair) with some talc before putting it on.

Once you've got your mask on where you want it, it really is a superb Catwoman replica. The ears sit just perfectly, and the eye holes are just the right size and shape. Pair it with a catsuit and bullwhip and you've got yourself a prize winning Anti-Hero costume!

After wear this hood was super-easy to clean. Just a splash of hot water and an overnight drip-dry and it was as good as new. My hair, on the other hand, looked like something Einstein would be proud of! (But luckily this was only temporary :P)

This is a great beginners latex item if you're delving into fetishwear for the first time, and is also ideal for anyone into cosplay, roleplay or just fancy dress in general.

      The shape and fit.
It was a little fiddly to get "perfect" but that's it.
      Bottom line
The best Catwoman mask I've ever seen.

    1. One of my favourites, and an easy latex piece to start with

Reviewed: October 9, 2015 by Marquise de Carabas

I should start by saying that I got this off a friend who was downsizing her collection, so I cannot comment on postage and packaging, but I love this so much that when I noticed it came from here and that she had not left a review, I had to!

(Let me put a disclaimer here, though: I know my friend well, this is not a particularly intimate piece, and I still gave it a good wash - I don't recommend sharing latex or buying it second hand otherwise, it's very much a second skin you'll sweat loads in and be intimately acquainted with!)

I love this mask. My head is 56cm/22'' in circumference, and this fits well without too much slack. You will have to do some hair control before donning this (my suggestion is either tie your hair, or if you want it flowing on your shoulders still, use a very thin headband - skip pins, they may snag your latex!), and one of my (few) qualms is that the eye sockets extend really far onto your forehead, so you will look a bit silly with hair sprouting out of it, which will almost inevitably happen - but put on some Cleopatra-style eye-makeup and nobody will be looking at your hair.

Once worn, the mask stays in place almost perfectly (I'll elaborate on the almost later). It looks much better than in the picture! The ears don't budge, and they're more sophisticated than your standard catgirl ears - it's more of a modern Catwoman/Batgirl vibe (though if you feel silly you can always sneak up on your partner and then surprise growl in their ear 'I'm Batman' in your best baritone).

The mask comes in a fairly shiny finish to start with, so if this is your one latex piece you can probably skip on a shiner for now; however, I generally do shine it, especially if I'm wearing a full latex outfit, and you will need to clean it before wearing as latex accretes dust and specks of stuff really easily. Just use a damp non-dusty cloth once you have it on, or pass it under water and leave to dry for a bit (you can towel dry the inside as you don't care about bits there).

Now for the bad bits. I did mention that the eye sockets are a bit *too* wide, but is not too bad. What really gets me is that the nose bridge of the mask is not very long, so if you don't have a completely squat nose this will either end up sitting very high on your nose, which means the eye sockets will start juuuust under your eyes, or if you try to pull it down your nose it will end up pulling your nose cartilage up, which is not the sexiest thing. I tend to just go with keeping the mask fairly up high, since I have high cheekbones and it doesn't look that odd, but it takes some struggling to get a good look.

That said, I'm very fond of the good look once I find it, so I tolerate this, and given the price of the garment, I'd buy a new one for myself if this one were to break. It is also a really easy to wear (unlike a lot of other latex garments), so if you want to start your latex fun somewhere, this is a good place!

It looks great once in place, low-hassle latex (optional shiner, easy to get on).
Takes some fiddling to position nose bridge, eye sockets are very wide.
      Bottom line
Takes very little work, it's simple latex piece to start your collection, and looks fantastic.

    1. Purr-leasantly surprised!

Reviewed: September 14, 2015 by LadyFiasco, a Bisexual Married Female

First off, I would like to say that I am writing from a beginner's perspective - I have never experimented with latex/costumes/role-play or any kind of category that this mask may fall into!

I received this item in the usual prompt and discreet fashion - just a simple jiffy bag with no obvious branding. The mask was placed inside plain see-through plastic packaging along with a small sheet of paper. The paper gives the name of the product and a photo on one side, and there are instructions about caring for latex products on the other side, as well as a note about latex allergies.

My first impression on taking it out of the packaging was that it looked a little flimsy. However, this might just be because I'm not used to latex products so am not entirely sure how they're meant to look/feel. On further inspection it seemed like it could be stretched quite a bit without any damage being done to it, which is a positive.

In terms of the fit, the mask was fine once properly positioned. For comparison, my head size is approx. 22 in/56 cm and it fitted well but I expect that the mask can be stretched to fit bigger head sizes if need be. It was quite comfortable to wear - in fact at times I forgot I had it on!

As described, the ears certainly do stay upright, although the overall look reminds me more of the Batman mask rather than of a cat because of the shape of the ears. Nevertheless, the mask does pass for a cat, and would be great to wear as part of a whole cat/Catwoman outfit! It looks especially good when paired with a collar (my friend gave me one to try with this mask, it really brings it all together!).

I'm not yet sure whether I will be using this in the bedroom with my current partner - however, I took a few pictures of me wearing the mask and my friend told me I looked hot. She even said that I should write in my review that (these are her actual words), "I showed it to my friend and she instantly wanted to take my clothes off so... I'd say this product is a win". Which is nice to hear!

Overall I really like this mask. When I put it on, I was very unsure at first, as I've never tried anything like this before. However, once I got used to it, I felt really sexy and enjoyed the look. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in experimenting with latex, or anyone who fancies role playing as a cat or Catwoman - perhaps even just for fancy dress or as a Halloween costume!
