Satisfyer Pro Penguin USB Rechargeable Clitoral Stimulator
Well, it worked great for me
Reviewed: February 13, 2017 by Older Dirty Lady, a Straight Married Female
I have two Satisfyer Pro2s, though one recently died, and I also have a Penguin. I find it a wonderful toy.
It's much more compact than the Pro2, which is good for carrying in the purse or a pocket; it has a much friendlier look, has a lovely satin silicone covering all over the toy.
It has a mouth that takes more flesh in while also not having wide lips that are harder to get between the outer labia without spreading my legs. The toy is super ergonomic in use which it allowing my arm to rest on my body while my hand has full control and my thumb is on the speed control.
As for power, it is fractionally weaker than the Pro2 but this is probably because it is moving a larger volume of air with its bigger mouth but while the Pro2 is too strong for me above level 3 the Penguin gets too much above 5. That still leaves 6 further settings for the power-queens. It's just as fast to get me to orgasm as the Pro2, albeit I will be using it a click or two higher powerwise. That means zero to Ohh! in under 2 minutes reliably.
Final benefit of the Penguin is it's a fair bit quieter than the Pro2. So in conclusion, buy this and not the Pro2! And Lovehoney, reconsider discontinuing the toy!
- Look, feel, quiet, ergonomics, power, rapid orgasms.
- Bottom line
- It's great. Does me as well as the Pro2 and the Womanizer W100 I had.

I received this toy as a tester product in exchange for review, so thank you Lovehoney, as always! I already own another toy by Satisfyer, The Satisfyer Pro 2, which is a toy I adore, so I very much hoped this Pro Penguin would be equally as good, if not better. After a couple of weeks of non-stop use, it has quite clearly lived up to those hopes and I cannot express how awesome I think this toy is!
First impressions out of the box were all good. It is smaller than the Pro 2, at about 2/3 the size, and is just short of the length of my hand. I think this would be very good as a toy for someone who wishes to travel with it, or, like me, a student who wants something discreet. The material feels very high quality and being silicone is body-safe. I actually think this looks like a luxury toy and is much cuter than the Pro 2, which is frankly a bit ugly.
I set this off charging before first use. It charges by a magnetic cable, so you just connect the cable to the two small metal circles on the toy's base. This is super easy and the button on the front flashes whilst the toy is charging. The connection can be a tad finicky, but once it is in position, you should be fine to leave it to charge.
Now, onto the most important point - how does this toy feel? Fabulous is the answer!
You turn it on by pressing the on button and it comes on on the first setting. This is a very gentle setting and I tend to move up to the second one instead. This toy provides pretty much the same sensation as the Pro 2, but I find the cool puff of air less noticeable with the Penguin. If you have never used a suction toy before, the best way I can describe it is similar to clitoral-targeted oral sex, combined with the engorged/building feeling that you get when your clitoris gets more aroused and you can tell you are reaching orgasm. Except this toy can do it with basically zero effort from yourself other than holding it, and that feeling starts (for me at least) pretty much from the moment I start using this toy.
Something I consider to be wonderful is the fact that despite there being 11 settings, I have never needed to go above the third setting. Ever. Truthfully, the second setting is more than enough usually, just sometimes if I want to speed up the orgasm process I'll bump up to the third. I am not someone who struggles to reach orgasm alone from sex toys, but if you are someone who does struggle, there is a definite possibility that you can find a setting that will work for you here. The Pro 2 definitely has stronger suction, but on that I literally stick to the first two speeds and find the stronger suction rather intense - I still feel the Penguin would be sufficient in strength.
One rather large difference between the Pro 2 and the Penguin is the size of the suction head. On the Penguin, it is a lot smaller and thinner, so I feel like with this you can get a stronger seal and more precise, pinpoint positioning. If you want broader stimulation, then the Pro 2 would probably be better. The actual hole itself is the same size on both. Thus, where I said earlier that the Penguin is less powerful than the Pro 2, the Penguin offers a stronger seal and is more pinpoint, which probably means it needs less power to do the same job anyway.
I have come to the conclusion that I actually prefer the Penguin to the Pro 2, which I love, and the single biggest factor that has swayed my choice is the noise level. The Penguin is so quiet for the sensations it gives. The Penguin is much quieter than my Pro 2, and now I use it all the time, despite living in university halls where everyone can hear everything through the walls - it is my number one choice of toy that emits noise.
I absolutely cannot recommend this enough, it is my favourite toy I now own and I absolutely implore anyone considering it to give it a go. I am a bit of a cheapskate and bargain-hunter and I actually feel it is worth the price for the awesome combo of quietness, power, orgasm quality and convenient size. This has never failed me and every orgasm I have with it is awesome. Suction toys are the future!
- Everything, especially sensations and noise level.
- Charging on occasion finicky, no up/down buttons for speeds.
- Bottom line
- 99.95% faultless.

Sorry in advance! I wanted to love it as I was eagerly awaiting it after I'd ordered but I am seriously underwhelmed by the Satisfyer Pro Penguin!
I had been coveting the Womanizer, but at £150 just couldn't justify it despite the rave reviews. I settled on trying a Satisfyer Pro at just under half the price as they seemed very similar, however when I came to order I noticed the Penguin, which is a new version of the Satisfyer Pro. I decided to go for this one as I assumed that as it's newer it should be better, right?!
It's arrived quickly, simply packaging, including a user manual and a magnetic USB charging lead. It's simple to use with an on/off button and one other button to work up through the levels.
After charging I went to try it out. As I said, I had high expectations, having read the reviews for the Satisfyer Pro, but, urgh, this just did not do it for me at all! I could barely feel any 'suction' sensation at all, which is what I thought was the idea of these type of gadgets? Just a rumbly slow vibration, which was disappointing, think bullet that the batteries are running out on!
Don't get me wrong, I did orgasm, but it took about 20 minutes, serious concentration and it didn't feel anything different to the feeling I could achieve with a cheap bullet in my opinion.
Added to that, as soon as any lube is involved, the silicone cup kept slipping out every time I moved it which was incredibly frustrating!
I'm going to return it and try the Satisfyer Pro, or maybe just bite the bullet and go for the Womanizer I think!
- Not much! Charging cables good I guess!
- No suction.
- Bottom line
- Underwhelming and disappointing after such high hopes!
