Lovehoney Plus Size Cherry Blossom Ivory Satin Robe

Great fit..

I love robes and I love cherry blossom print so this was always going to be a winner for me. The robe itself well made and comfortable to wear. It is made from a lightweight satin which is makes for a great cover up pretty much all year around. The lace detailing is a nice addition and gives the robe a little more of a bedroom look. I am a size 18/20 with E cup boobs and I bought the Queen size. It fits me well, but it does come up smaller than the other Lovehoney robes that I own. If you are much bigger than a size 20 (particularly on top), you may want to go up a size if you want to be able to do it up properly. Unlike most robes of this type, the belt is not removable and is part of the robe at the back. I think this is a contributing factor to the robe being a bit smaller than it should be. The belt, together with the satin fabric, does mean this robe doesn't stay together quite as well as others. This isn't a huge issue unless you are particularly wanting to hide your outfit (or lack of one) under the robe. I do really like this robe. It is a more cute with a hint of sensual loungewear than sexy lingerie but it doesn't feel completely out of place in the bedroom.

I received this product really quickly and in Lovehoney's infamous discrete packaging - my neighbours were none the wiser as to what was inside! I loved the look of this robe on the website and was not disappointed when it arrived. The design and build is really high quality and the colours are stunning. The fit is also great - I'm a UK 14-16 so in the upper end of Lovehoney's base sizing, but this looked amazing on. This robe works as the perfect, sexy accessory - whether in the bedroom or around the house in the warmer months.

Everything about this robe feels so luxurious, from the soft satin material, to the gorgeous cherry blossom pattern to the delicate lace! I love the versatility of it too - it's great to throw on over your nightwear in the morning or night time but can easily be dressed up with some lingerie for a more sexy look. I like to wear mine with the matching teddy, they look great together.

I absolutely love cherry blossom and this collection is beautiful! I sized up for this robe as I wanted to be comfy in it and I must suggest it is a good idea, it's nice and soft but also easy to tighten to enhance your curves. The lace is also a lovely addition which gives the perfect added touch. Beautiful!
