    1. It wasn't for me

Reviewed: June 29, 2014 by Alexandra, a Straight Going Steady Female

This book is great if you are the target market. But I'm under 20 and still experimenting with my own ideas and likes/dislikes. I found that I wasn't mature enough to need this for inspiration.

For example - I don't have kids, so a lot of the scenarios that where along the same vein didn't apply to me. Tracey Cox is a brilliant writer and it isn't her fault that the book isn't for me. The writing is humorous and light-hearted throughout, with beautiful saucy photography.

This book is targeted at mature couples with a busy family and work life that have forgotten the secrets of sex from when they where young, and need to break out of routine.

    2. Overall Rating
      10 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Layout was beautiful and Tracey is like your best friend and sex advisor!
      Cons
I don't know what I was expecting, but I'm not the target market.
      Bottom line
      Good book, wrong person.

Wow! I'm not big headed in the slightest but I thought I knew all I needed to know about how to have hot sex. Then, I bought this book and it slapped me in the face and proved me wrong!

The book is unlike any I have read, it is funny, well written and honest. It is filled with tips and tricks, ideas and amazing intimate pictures.

I regularly just pick it up off my bookshelf and flick through it to get a few ideas.

Me and my partner have learnt so much from this book and now our sex isn't just hot sex, it's superhot sex!

I order this on Saturday night and it arrived this morning. I have almost read it cover to cover. Its a very girly looking book and fits nicely into my handbag. So far it has had some really good tips and guides which I will definitely be following. I am also considering buying more of the Tracey Cox books because of this one being so good!

    1. Interesting and insightful

Reviewed: September 17, 2013 by SaltSkin, a Bisexual Going Steady Female

There's me thinking I was an absolute bombshell in bed (sorry to be big headed), but I was taken aback to discover so many hints, tips and tricks that has made my sex life completely change for the better.

Admittedly some of the tips were obvious but that being said 80% of it was helpful information.

The books itself is full of glossy thick pages with intimate and artful photos. Not just smut.

    2. Overall Rating

      Pros
      Good presentation, helpful info.
      Cons
      Some tips were obvious.

      An essential for the bookshelf.

    1. Good if your sex life isn't what it should be

Reviewed: April 23, 2013 by Sweet-Loz, a Bisexual Married Female

Got this book in the £5 birthday deal this weekend and we read it over the course of two days.

To begin with it gives you the basics on anatomy but not in a scientific way. It then moves onto fantasies and role play. It touches briefly on anal, S&M and also on tantra. The most helpful was the short section at the back with some positions - which we tried and were good - and some tips on oral and handjobs.

However this was such a brief section that we didn't feel there was enough of what we were looking for. We also thought that this book was aimed at people who were in a long committed relationships with a dwindling vanilla sex life - although we are in a long committed relationship we weren't having a boring or infrequent sex life and we found a lot of stuff we already knew. It also seems to be aimed at couples who didn't share their fantasies or were open with each other as a lot of it was 'how to tell your partner this..' or 'how to share this..' and my other half and I are very open with each other so again this didn't apply to us.

    2. Overall Rating
      8 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      The tips and positions.
      Cons
It wasn't what we were looking for.
      Bottom line
Good if your sex life is 'vanilla' or infrequent.
