Exposed Luv 1/2 Cup Blue Floral Lace Bra & Suspender Set

I read some very detailed reviews on this set, written by ladies, so here is a man's perspective.

Firstly it looks fantastic. Once ordered it arrived promptly and discreetly. The quality is as usual very good. The sizing, as with the previous reviews, seems to be a slight issue.

From my point of view the bra and suspender set fitted my wife perfectly. The G-string was slightly big and after a few minutes it was off. Otherwise I think it would have worked itself down around her knees. Not always a bad thing. However, only if it's intentional.

The great thing about this is the confidence my wife gained. She was so impressed that it covered her little belly. She felt wonderful. She was really comfortable wearing this and said how easy it was to attach stockings to.

The bows are sweet and the colour is lovely. Without the G-string it was really horny under a skirt. A really good feel set, recommended.

I had been looking at this set (and the equivalent in different colours) for a good few months but couldn't justify spending the money on it. So when it came on offer at £20 it headed straight into my basket! Eye-catching from the start in the pictures and description. And before I even opened the packet that it came in (whole parcel coming discreet and secure as always) I was pleased with how accurate the colour was to the image shown.

The item itself - starting from the bottom up. The G-string. It's very basic, but you can't get all that fancy when it's just a bit of a v at the front and string everywhere else! The string going to the back from the front wasn't secured. It's a loop so it moves along the horizontal string that sits on your hips and above the bum. Whilst this doesn't impair the string it is always slightly annoying trying to position it perfectly every time you put it on or go to the bathroom etc. Easily sorted if needs be by a quick tack stitch. Wouldn't put me off at all.

The suspender skirt. Hmm. Looks amazing. Feels beautiful. But... I wish it came in actual single sizes rather than 8-12 (s/m). It just would not stay on me because of the size. I even tacked it to the G-string - which fitted me perfectly - but it still fell down. That meant I was hoiking up the skirt and my stockings the whole time I was wearing it. Hopefully once I have stitched it to the G-string completely this won't be an issue. And for those that are on the 10-12 size range it should probably fit better. The look of it on, though, was really nice. Very sexy and pretty and flattering and felt beautiful. Some lacy fabrics can feel itchy but this is so soft and luxurious.

For reference I'm a size 8 with 32c/d bra size.

The bra again gave good range for size difference. I adjusted the straps to the smallest and the back to the smallest hook and eye place. Once this was done the bra was amazing. It felt odd having nipples uncovered when wearing a bra (first time 1/2 cup bra wearing girl) but it's well worth it.

I was worried the lace would irritate my nipples (lace bras without padding do not go well with me usually), but the lace didn't touch my nipple or surrounding area, so this wasn't an issue. It didn't itch me at all again for how lovely the fabric felt. The cup size was perfect for me. The underwire fitted my breasts perfectly, no gaping or digging in. Boobs stayed put even when I jiggled about. Wearing a dress over the top of the set wasn't a problem. It skims your body so well that no lumps from fabric scrunching happens or edging shows through.

I felt so incredibly sexy in this set. Once I have sorted the suspender skirt this is going to be my favourite set for sure!

When my partner was surprised with it on me, he too thought it was amazing! Definitely heated up the bedroom. He's not one to leave anything on me when we have sex, but this outfit stayed on the whole time. He couldn't get enough ha. It hides a bit whilst letting you be adventurous and daring.

So in love with this set. The tiny hiccups with the skirt (again, just because of my size to the size range given and not because the product itself has a fault) is well worth it. And at half the price it's got to be one of the best buys I've had so far from Lovehoney. Just a shame it was so great for both my partner and I that the cock ring I bought to use with the set didn't get a look in! Set is irresistible to buy and irresistible for your partner. What a way to make one feel super sexy. Thanks for such a good outfit.

This tester turned into a tasty treat for a very Good Friday!

I tend to have limited success with underwired bras in sets sold by dress size; and great results with cupless lingerie, but the 'ol half cup was something I had yet to try. It was hard to predict which camp it would end up in. Well, the answer, at least for this set, is right where I should have guessed - half way between the two!

Because of my awkward sizing in general and my big boobs making trouble with standardised bras, I'm often a little nervous deciding which size to go for. I normally go for the one that mentions 12, especially if it falls in the middle of the range (i.e. 10-14). Long story short, I ended up with the S/M size which is stated as fitting 8-12. I have one other Exposed brand item, and as with that one, this is sufficiently true-to-size.

Let's work from the bottom up this time:

The thong is pretty typical of these sets, which is to say, very basic. Minimal effort involved in the making - it's made of the same stretch lace material as the garter skirt with a pink satin bow just like the other pieces, so it matches. It has a cotton gusset, which is always good, but that's where the features end. The rest of it is just stretchy straps, no back panel or anything. Easily gets twisted up after wearing, but isn't as difficult to untangle as others I've received. It does fit very well, sitting on the hips without cutting in, so there's that. (I wish these sets came with a pair of matching stockings instead of the thong, though!)

The suspender skirt is my favourite piece in the kit. It's gorgeous, comfy, and figure-flattering... all with the added bonus of built-in suspenders for your sexy stockings! I'd swear mine looks a little longer than the one in the picture - without stretching - but considering the sheer level of stretchiness of the material, that could still explain it. I was initially concerned by the resistance of the waistband.

I even heard the dreaded tiny pop of a stitch as I pulled it on for the first time, but after that, it slid on like a dream and I've had no problems in subsequent donnings. The stretch lace is not only beautifully patterned but soft to the touch. Very nearly as comfortable as lace can get. It has a very gentle hold, just cradling your curves instead of gripping them. This accentuates and even enhances your shape instead of distorting it. The subtle ruffling at the bottom is a flirty little touch and the adjustable suspender straps seem to me to be unusually high quality.

And here we arrive at the bra. As expected, it is the least well-fitting piece for me, but only in the cups; and the demi-cups mean it technically fits better than it would as a full cup bra. It is made to be the equivalent of a B cup, and my breasts need an E to hold them. So obviously this aspect will differ for you depending on your own cup size. Ladies with lower-fat milkers will probably find perfection here.

The back band is comfortable and doesn't dig in, same with the adjustable shoulder straps. The straps are set wide to the side, too, which is an extra blessing for those of us with major mammories - they sit to the side of the breasts, framing them, even giving them a bit of a lift, and most importantly not cutting in and warping them! The half cups do provide a bit of a boost, though admittedly with bigger boobs this does make them look a little funny from the side, like they're sitting on a shelf. Best viewed from the front. All in all, what I'm saying is, it is one of the better-fitting ill-fitting items I own. Or perhaps more simply: it's pretty good for someone who needs a bigger cup, so probably spot-on for those closer to a B cup.

The colour... Wow! The indigo/blue is deep but positively electric! It really pops in person. Hard to tear the eyes from. The pink bows add a clever burst of contrast. The photos don't do this set enough justice. The colour just has to be seen in person to be believed! Looks lovely against the skin (or mine, anyway - I have a medium-light but vaguely olive/gold complexion).

The packaging is just a footnote. Clear plastic bag with the brand name printed on it. One card tag attached to one of the pieces inside.

A gorgeous, versatile and figure-flattering set. Well worth a buy, even for those whose cups overfloweth.
