DC Comics Superman Superhero Shorts

Spotted these on the site when browsing for other products. Purchased the Wonder Woman and Superman versions as a mid-week present for my super-mad wife. She loved them once I showed them too her which was fantastic.

A side note on Lovehoney's returns system, I was extremely pleased with their customer service and returns as I accidentally ordered the incorrect size originally. Having never returned anything before I can assure you, it's better than other companies!

These arrived in the usual plain cardboard box as always, but when opened it was like "OMG, XL? these are huge!" I’d forgotten the sizing on the order as I’m usually only an L and when they arrive in the clear plastic, mounted on a hanger, they look enormous.

I was so relieved when they were off the hanger and sliding on to find that they were indeed the right size and a lovely fit too! They’re nice and comfy being 95% cotton and the 5% spandex makes them mould to your shape beautifully.

So glad I bought two, but suspect I may need some spares if damaged by my dastardly OH trying to rip them off!

We bought the whole superhero collection and these have held up the best! Comfortable, durable and fun! We can see why they are called super! We hope to carry on building our collection! Maybe a villains set next! Can’t always be nice, sometimes you have to be naughty!

When I noticed that Lovehoney had added a range of officially licensed DC Comics underwear I couldn't have been more pleased. The timing was perfect. My other half's birthday was coming up and he's a huge fan of all things superhero, so I knew he'd be all over this collection.

I had fallen in love with the bras so I decided to order the matching set and surprise him. I opted for Superman first, knowing I could always pick up the others later. I did decide to get the other boyshorts from this range, but not the bras as I wasn't too fond of the one I brought.

The packaging wasn't very interesting. Just a simple plastic packet with tag attached. They do come on a hanger, though, which was a nice touch. If being ordered with the bra, the set would be better presented in one of Lovehoney's lingerie bags.

I had visions of this range going one of two ways, either tacky and low quality or quality pants to be proud of. Fortunately for me, they were the latter. I was pretty impressed. These shorts were well made and didn't appear to have any loose threads. We all know how comfortable cotton undies are and these were no exception. If you're looking for some comfy everyday knickers that can be doubled as cheeky bedroom shorts or part of a superhero roleplay outfit, then look no further!

When I tried them on, I was gritting my teeth because of the experience I had with the matching bra. Thankfully, the sizing for these was much better. I had ordered the small and I wear a four to six on my bottom half, although I'm more of a four at the moment. They fit perfectly. The stretchy elasticated waistbands adds to the comfort factor and allows them to have enough room to accommodate the rest of the size range with no problems. These shorts are basically the cotton version of Flirty knickers in terms of comfort and fit. I love them!

Overall, I'd have to say that these were a great purchase. I'm hoping some more of the DC Comics underwear that I've seen online will make its way over to Lovehoney soon as I could really do with some more comfortable knickers in my collection.

The only thing that I have annoyance with about these is the colour scheme. I feel like these would have looked better if the main area was blue to match the bra rather than red. The Wonder Woman knickers look more of a match to the bra than these do and it feels a bit wrong to mix and match with their opponents.

Have to be honest these looked a bit poor when I opened the packet before I gave them to the other half but once on they look spot on, and are a great fit!

Girlfriend likes them as well which always helps. Look forward to seeing her in them again.
