DOMINIX Deluxe Leather and PVC Thick Flogger 1 Meter

I was fortunate enough to receive this toy for road testing. The item arrived in the usual brown LH box and was wrapped up inside the box in a clear plastic bag. It was a little underwhelming at first but looks are deceiving.

Once you take the flogger out of the bag its true length becomes readily apparent, as does that unpleasant new plastic smell. The flogger is heavy in the hand and I am glad that there is a leather strap on the handle. If you get enough momentum behind the flogger it can fly out of your hand if you are not careful.

The flogger makes a really nice swishing noise as it passes through the air and an even nicer noise when it impacts against skin or clothing. The handle is sturdy, however I worry that it may come loose with use. It's formed by wrapping leather thongs around the PVC tails and I can't see immediately how the thongs are secured.

The tails themselves are thick, flexible and sturdy, some of them are cut flat at the ends, the others diagonally, so some will bite harder into skin than others. If you are not careful with this toy you can draw blood, so I would say that this toy is best used when the person on the receiving end of the tails is clothed, you are less likely to break the skin that way.

You need a lot of room to wield this toy effectively, as I found out when I almost took out the bedroom light one evening. It looks beautiful, it handles beautifully and I think I have a new favourite flogger.
