Coco de Mer Feather Tickler

This was a product I received from the tester list. The package arrived securely and on time as normal.

Upon opening the generic postage packaging I expected a bit of a nicer package since this is from the exclusive Coco de Mer range and is of a higher price than other ticklers that I’ve seen. The product is simply sealed in a transparent plastic bag instead.

My initial reaction on opening is that it’s not entirely what I expected. The tickler is light weight with a wooden base with the feathers secured to this. Due to the lack of packaging the feathers tilt mostly to one side rather than having the random plumage shown in the product picture. The striped feathers shown in the product picture as well as what looks like an ombre effect where the red turns to black are also not representative of the actual product. Instead, the feather I have in place of the striped one has a black/dark green tint with a nip of red at the tip.

In terms of actual usage the feathers are wonderfully soft which makes them great for sensation play and teasing. The different types of feathers on the product also allow for different textures and sensations when used meaning that the senses become even more heightened. The stalks of the feathers are sturdy which adds another level to the sensation especially along sensitive areas such as nipples.

Overall, whilst the product does its job of heightening the senses, for the price of it I would have liked to see a better storage case, bag or box provided, especially since this is a nice size to bring on weekends away, however, I am unsure how well it’d hold up being packed up and moved around a lot.
