    1. Expanded to new circumferences

Reviewed: December 2, 2009 by sexynsassy, a Straight Engaged Female

I'm not sure what kind of an anus the last user's partner has, but I find this device to be incredible!

If a person is new to anal play it's not intimidating at all. I suggest putting a lot of lube on both the anal developer and in the anus. Insert the developer as deeply as is comfortable and then pump away.

The amount of pumping that a person can handle depends on their level of anal play experience. If you really want to stretch your anus to new levels this is the perfect tool.

The bulbous end can expand to about 8 or 9 inches in diameter. If you pump this up while inside your rectum and them push it out it will, over time, loosen the anal muscles of your sphincter. No, you won't be 'loosing your poop' all over the place, but your anus will become much more supple and allow for even bigger things to enter you with less stress.

This is the perfect trainer for preparing your anus for fisting.

Again, you want to insert it at least 3 inches into the anus, then pump it larger... then expel it by pushing it out while in its expanded state. Do this over and over, making it larger each time and soon your sphincter will be very receptive to being stretched to even more limits.

Another way I use this is to have your partner enter you just past the opening of your anus. Then pump the toy as large as you can stand it. Let them hold there (or it will pop out) for at least 10 minutes (or longer if they and you don't mind). Again, this will ease the sphincter muscles and as an added bonus your partner will get to enjoy seeing a large gaping anus like those usually seen only in a porn flick.

On the other hand, if you can expand this to 8 inches in diameter and it 'slips' out, then you are beyond the need for an 'anal training' device and should be using 2 litre soda bottles to stretch yourself to new limits!

I would give it 10 stars if I could.

    1. Great for training

When the product arrived, the material for the ball that inflates, didn't look the most sturdy, but it's certainly not.

My boyfriend is really into to trying to stretch and push to the limit, and this certainly does help! The pump is really easy to use and release when needed to.

The only problem is it's not easy to keep in place and inflate by yourself, definitely something to use with your partner!

Hadn't ever expected to try something like this but had a random moment.

If you're looking to accommodate larger toys then I think this is very useful in making the transition comfortable and pleasurable.

Allows you to go at your own pace, learning as you do.

I was able to notice positive effects from the use of this toy.

      Ease of use.

      Wire could be longer.
      Bottom line
      Not a must-have.

    1. A very interesting idea

Reviewed: September 6, 2014 by twosharehants

As others have said this is not the best packaged toy sold by Lovehoney, but it does at least come in a retail box and sealed bag inside. The anal developer itself seems to be of a sturdy construction.

Due to the lack of instructions, I took a guess at how to use this, and after a good douche and applying plenty of water-based lube, decided to experiment.

What seemed to work for me was to insert the head until about half the handle was past the sphincter. A few depressions of the bulb then gave a gentle and pleasant feeling of fullness. At this point firmly pulling on the handle, and pulling the inflated bulb at the tip out, gave some intense pleasure.

Repeating this a few times, gradually increasing the level of inflation seemed to be getting the desired effect, but the combination of lube and gloss handle did make this increasing difficult. Personally I would prefer to see either a small T-bar at the bottom of the handle or a matte finish to aid grip.

    2. Overall Rating
      6 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Creates lots of very pleasurable sensation in the nerves around the sphincter.
      Cons
Hard to grip sufficiently to pull the expanded tip back out.
      Bottom line
Interesting idea, which with some minor alterations could become a wonderful toy.

    1. Interesting but not what you expect

Reviewed: August 21, 2010 by BabsH, a Straight Married Female

I got this to help my partner train up to real anal games. I hoped it would be easy to insert and then would be easily controlled up to bigger and bigger sizes. I was hoping it could be used to expand the sphincter.

It IS easy to insert and the bulb is easy to press and the tube is a good length. Everything looked promising.

Because this device has no neck, it has to be held in place until there is some inflation. Even then it tends to slide out until well inflated - very well inflated. And beyond the sphincter, actually in the rectum, so it's not stretching the opening.

That may not sound to be a big problem, but it defeats the purpose of building up gently to big inflation. So my partner says, "that's enough" and it promptly slides out with the balloon deforming to get through the sphincter. So we try it again with a little more inflation and the same happens. By this time, she's apprehensive about it. Convincing her to try more times will take all my persuasiveness.

You can see the problem. I should have foreseen it from the picture.

    2. Overall Rating
      4 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Smooth and easy to insert. Nice inflation arrangements.
      Cons
Tends to slide out unless very well inflated. Does not train the sphincter.
      Bottom line
Well made and interesting for a beginner. There are better toys to train the sphincter.
