Fetish Fantasy Suction Cuff Bondage Kit

I have to say, I'd passed over this product a few times; I was always dubious that it could do what it promised. What had put me off was the idea of the suction cups; I just couldn't imagine they could be strong enough to hold together or to other surfaces with the weight of a person pulling against them.

Well, my husband and I eagerly pulled everything out of the box and had an impromptu tug of war, discovering that no amount of pulling and tugging could separate the suction cups from each other. You have to use the release tab or really get your nails between each surface to peel them apart. I was also impressed by the feel and quality of the main product, the cuffs themselves felt tough and appeared to be made to a high standard. The blindfold that comes in the kit isn’t the best I’ve seen; it was pretty flimsy and thin, but then it is just an added bonus and not exactly what you’d purchase the product for!

The packaging features a few ideas of how to use the suction cups to achieve various different positions, just in case you’re new to bondage play or perhaps fancy some fresh ideas. The beauty of this product, however, is the sheer versatility and simplicity of the design. Your imagination really is your limit!

First impressions aside, it was time to try this kit out properly. I already own basic cuffs, an under bed bondage kit and some door jams but, in all honesty, this one could replace several other kits. You can go basic: just cuff the arms behind the back; or try out some more complicated bondage positions by combining ankle and wrist restraints. The cuffs are firm but soft enough to be comfortable, much nicer to struggle in than metal handcuffs but equally secure. The suction cuffs stayed true to their initial testing by the husband and me, they didn’t budge whatsoever! As opposed to other methods of fixing cuffs together, if the dominant partner wants to change his sub’s position, it’s incredibly quick to do and doesn’t involve fiddling with keys or catches.

We’ve also tried the suction cups against a door and, once again, they surprised me and held firmly. With that in mind, I wish I’d come across this product much earlier since it could have saved me buying others. It’s definitely now our firm favourite just because you’re not tied down (excuse the pun!) to one position during kinky play due to the limitations of restraints.

The cuffs won't stick to walls. They did stick to wardrobe doors, however as soon as they weren't under tension, as in when he relaxed, they came off.

We tried with and without water, didn't help. They slid apart from each other so didn't even work as hand cuffs. Not a happy bunny.

They are a great idea but really need to work on the suckers they use.

After reading the review on these my boyfriend and I thought they were going to be brilliant... What a shock we had.

The Velcro fastening is strong and there is no way of pulling yourself out of them, BUT the suction cups didn’t stick to anything. We tried wetting them and tried to get them to stick to a number of different surfaces, but no joy.

We ended up having to tie them to the bed and that defeats the object of the product.
