Position of the Week:
Throne of Moans

If you crave pleasure, seat yourself on the Throne of Moans! It’s time to kneel (and squeal) your way to sensual climax – and soak up the attention you deserve...

A naked illustrated couple; one is seated in the other's lap; both are kneeling, facing the same way

How?

One partner kneels, sitting upright with their knees together. The other partner sits in their lap, facing the same way, their knees straddling outside the lower partner’s thighs. As you sink together in the seated position, stay close. The receiver will be pressed cosily into the giver’s chest, maximising body contact.

The straddling partner controls the pace, adjusting the angle by leaning forward or back, teasing their partner with their ass. The kneeling partner offers support by holding hips, waist, or thighs. It’s kind of like a Reverse Cowgirl, except you’re both kneeling.

Why?

We’re talking skin contact, connection, and great control. The straddling partner can shift the angle to target different internal spots like the A-spot or G-spot, while the lower partner feels the satisfying weight of a naked hottie bearing down on them – bliss! Use it as a position for penetration or mutual masturbation; it’s very versatile.

Both sets of hands are free for extra stimulation, whether it’s stroking thighs, teasing nipples, or caressing necks. It’s also great for long sessions, since the kneeling posture supports your partner while letting the straddler do as much or as little work as they like. Perfect for exploring a mix of slow sensuality and intense build-up.

Make it even easier

If kneeling becomes uncomfortable, place a cushion or folded towel under the loer partner’s knees for added support. The straddling partner can use nearby furniture – a low bed, couch back, or armrest – for extra balance and to make transitions smoother.

If lifting up and down is too much, focus on rocking the hips instead. You can even stay still and focus entirely on grinding and external stimulation. Adjust the height and surface beneath you so both bodies feel grounded and supported, not strained.

Make it even better

Try doing Kegels while riding to intensify the penetration sensation for both partners; squeeze your pelvic floor muscles rhythmically to tighten around your partner’s shaft.

Can’t feel your pelvic floor too well? Pre-penetration, play with a set of vibrating Kegel balls, which can be used to tease the nipples and clitoris before popping them inside. Vibrations can warm up erogenous zones, making them even more sensitive.

For straddling partners with a penis, try using a stroker toy while riding your lover to maximise your pleasure, both inside and out.

Make it even kinkier

Put the straddling partner at your mercy (with consent of course!) by strapping them into a ball gag. Once gagged, they surrender not just control but also the ability to speak – a powerful element in dominance and submission play. This can intensify vulnerability and heighten arousal for both partners.

Make sure to agree on non-verbal safe signals before play starts, like tapping out or dropping an object. Pair the gag with a firm grip on the hips or whispered praise for a sensual exploration of control and submission.
