This week, we’re backing it up and flipping it around for a reverse penetration position to warm you up on cold winter nights. This is the only acceptable way to turn your back on your lover!
How?
The receiving partner lies on their back, legs pulled back toward their shoulders in a deep stretch. The giving partner gets on all fours, facing away from their lover, backing up until their knees are planted firmly on either side of the receiver’s butt.
If you’re the giver, make sure you’re lubed up before sliding inside your partner from above. Go deep and slow, or else Rudolph might look back and find he’s no longer hitched up to the sleigh!
Feel like you're flying
Why?
This position is an A-spot superstar. At this angle, the penetrating partner can hit the upper-front wall of the vagina or anterior canal, creating intense, pulsating pleasure.
The unique angle will feel unfamiliar in a very erotic way, bringing a dash of novelty to your usual routine. Plus, you’re facing away from each other, which can be liberating if you tend to feel self-conscious about your facial expressions when you’re in the moment – not that you should, you sexy thing!
Make it even easier
Receiver, if your abs and back can’t take the leg lift, try bending at the knees (you might even be able to lightly rest your heels on the giver’s butt!) or using a spreader bar.
You can also pop a stack of pillows or a sex wedge under your lower back to ease the strain of keeping those legs in the air. With your hips raised, it’ll be easier for your partner’s penis or strap-on to reach inside you, too.
Giver, you can always drop down onto your forearms if you’re struggling to hold the plank position. And try a penis extender if you don’t have the length for penetration at this angle but still want to give the position a go.
Make it even better
This is a more athletic position, so hands-free toys are the way to go. Try a butt plug for the giving partner; cool, weighted metal will feel amazing as you thrust (although silicone is easier to insert and remove if you’re an anal play beginner).
The other option is a C-shape wearable couple’s toy like the We-Vibe Chorus Pro. This stimulates both penis and vulva during penetration, so it feels like more of a shared experience.
The reclining partner can control the vibrations of the Chorus Pro using the haptic squeeze remote (where the vibration intensity increases as your grip tightens!) – but some couples prefer to use the pre-programmed vibration sequences. That way, you don’t have to fiddle around with lube-slippery toy buttons while you’re going at it.
Make it even kinkier
You’re not looking at each other’s faces, so this position is prime time for watching porn together. Give it a kinky edge by choosing separate videos and watching them on different screens, locking into different fantasies while your bodies stay intertwined.
If you’re both comfortable with this, it’s a similar vibe to meeting up in a hotel and pretending you don’t know each other – you get the thrill of feeling clandestine while enjoying the gorgeous familiarity of each other’s bodies.
If you prefer more connection, choose a video together. Enjoy each other’s moans and filthy commentary – you might learn something surprising about what turns your lover on!
Not the position for you?
