    1. Great for Absolute Beginners or After Pregnancy

Reviewed: August 19, 2017 by Flidais

I am not a stranger to Kegel balls. I got my first one in my early twenties, a double-ball Fun Factory one. Thirteen years and two vaginal births later, my Fun Factory one wasn't helpful anymore because it was too much of a challenge to keep it in for long periods of time and I don't have time to do targeted practice. I just want to pop them in and go about my day without worrying they will fall out.

Before I had kids I could wear them all day. After two kids I was having problems with dribbling urine when I coughed, laughed too much or did cardio. The stress incontinence was negatively affecting my life. I had trouble losing the pregnancy weight because it was hard to do cardio without wetting myself or running to the toilet every few minutes. I certainly didn't want to go to a gym because I was afraid of people noticing that I smelled like urine. I knew I could get things back to normal with this sort of thing, but my old device which is about 75g was too much for my current state, so I got this little guy.

Immediately I was able to wear it without it falling out, which was great for my confidence. Benefits from wearing it came quickly. I was able to wear it for longer and longer periods of time and in just a couple days I noticed an improvement in the stress incontinence. I could actually feel my muscles again as I clamped on to this, other toys or my husband's cock. As I got stronger I started trying out the 60g balls too. As I got stronger I used the 60g ones more and more, but if I was having a day when the 60g ones were too much, then I would go back down to the 30g ones.

The product arrived quickly and discreetly, like always with Lovehoney. The smooth, seamless design of this product is great and I love the vibrant purple colour. I love that you can get such a lightweight Kegel ball for those that are having issues, although I think most people would probably be able to start with the 60g one. (You could always buy this 30g one later if you find the 60g too much from the start.)

However, if you have had kids and feel like things aren't as tight or if you are dribbling urine, then this device is an ideal start to regain pelvic strength. You will of course then need to move up to the 60g version, then the 90g, etc. The loop helps with easy retrieval and the seamless connection makes it very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

I am so happy to find the right weight Kegel ball which allowed me to get back to pelvic training, cure my stress incontinence and regain tightness in my vagina after two vaginal births. This has been a huge boost to my confidence, and since I can move up to heavier Kegel balls, I know I can keep improving. Of all the sex toys I have ever bought (and I have had quite a few) this one has had the biggest positive impact on my life. It has allowed me to get over a very distressing condition and it has allowed me to get back to pelvic training, something I have long been a proponent of.

Being only 30g, this kegel ball is perfect for absolute beginners, after pregnancy and for those with stress incontinence. If you are young, healthy and never had children, I would recommend skipping this one and starting with the 60g one. Be prepared to buy the heavier ones as you get stronger, because you won't want to stop here.

    1. Not for everyone

      Reviewed: August 18, 2017 by _cherry_bomb_

After having 2 children, I've thought about getting a Kegel ball for a long time to help strengthen my pelvic floor muscles. I decided to go with this 30g beginners ball but after using it I think I'm going to have to go up to a heavier weight for a better challenge!

Although it wasn't the correct weight for me, I'd definitely recommend you start with it, especially if you've never used a Kegel before, just so you can get used to using one. The ball itself is soft, comfortable and easy to use, you can tell it's made from top quality material.

    2. Overall Rating:
      10 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Soft and comfortable.
      Cons
Too light in weight for me.
      Bottom line
      Perfect for beginners.

    1. My gift

Reviewed: August 5, 2017 by PirateQueen, a Bisexual Engaged Female

No joke, I'm serious. This was my gift for my partner.

In many ways, people often gift things that are beyond even "it was the thought that counted". I should know because once I received a pair of earrings for pierced ears from a close family member.

Wanna hear the droll part? My ears aren't pierced, nor was I contemplating it at the time. oO

      Um. Yeah, me too.

Instead, gifting is always something that should be done with a touch of introspection. For instance - you may be a total couch potato, but your BFF is a total gym freak. Who has recently been obsessing about a gym she'd love to go to. And instead of buying her a perfume or another purse, why not get her a gym membership to that said gym for at least a month?

It's the same with things that are intimate. You may not give a sex toy to a total stranger or someone you barely know (though I have been known to suggest it in conversations that led to topics that ended up with advice... work toughens you up, lol, and no taboo is sacred pretty soon, and as it is, I was never really a taboo person), but what is wrong with giving a friend something that you know they are likely to enjoy and that is good for them? And when it comes to partners, I really don't think there is a good excuse to pretend you can't do intimate gifts for people you are definitely intimate with.

A few years ago, when we were really struggling (being on terrain being difficult, stress due to both our families, etc etc enter depression), my libido went into the cellar and then probably started digging its way to China. I was unresponsive, uninterested, emotionally cold or explosive (tears or anger, dealer's choice), and things were definitely not going well in my lady garden. Dryness, lack of muscle tone, no clit sensitivity, pain, you name it... the only thing that vaguely remained alive was my G-spot. In general, things were awful, especially if you consider I was a no pain ever (lost my flowers without noticing anything but the pleasure) several orgasms a go Niagara falls firm as a rock girl whose vag muscles once killed a rampant rabbit.

My partner resolved some of the issues by gifting me a toning ball (have to start somewhere if you're going to help, right?) and that immediately had an effect. By now, we are back to no lube needed and any kind of sex we like.

That's how we got into balls initially.

Now, this little beauty was my gift to her. Her muscle tone was never as good as mine, and the hormonal shifts during the month can sometimes make things laxer. So we decided it was time to actively do something about it, but it became clear that she would need a special ball because none of the others we have were comfortable.

So I sat down and decided to do some secret shopping.

I've long had my eye on this little beauty. I love Lovehoney's products, the vast majority of them are amazing, good quality, precisely what you wish for and more and on top of that really good price for the quality.

I couldn't be luckier, of course... The ball was on a deal, so in the basket it went, together with a three for ten hamper and two absolutely wonderful pieces of lingerie.

Today, my partner decided to wear it for the first time during her morning exercise for her thirty day exercise challenge. We'd cooed about how soft and nice it was before, but as I advised her not to wear it for an entire day the first time around (think your biceps are the only thing that can get sore from too much exercising? Think again... ;) ), today seemed like a really good time to try for the twenty or thirty minutes that she was going to have it in.

It remained in for probably twice or three times as long and was an absolute blast. My partner said she could barely feel it, but it was definitely doing the job. It was also so smooth to insert that I heard no complaints about a slight pinching feeling like with other balls.

It's obviously too early to say just how successful the ball will be in toning and how fast. Normally, it takes a few days at least to notice the difference (speaking from experience with clients as well as personal now), and with some people it can take over a month to get to that real difference that we all crave.

That said, my partner has one advantage over others - she wears the bulb of the double ended dildo almost daily when we have sex, for over an hour most of the time, and while this is not the same as wearing the kegel ball, it is similar and does do some pelvic strengthening. So good hopes all around.

If you are looking for a good ball to start with, I'd definitely suggest this one. It's not in any way daunting, it's silky smooth and soft and does the job perfectly. Only think that might be a bit of a downer for some is the vibrations may or may not be felt. But then again, I'm yet to find a ball that jiggles all the time.
