Position of the Week:
Have a Ball

Roll up, roll up (literally) for this optimal oral position, allowing both the giver and receiver to have a ball with some wet, wild and totally intimate lovin’...

A naked illustrated couple. One is led on their back with knees curled tightly to their chest and the other is led facing their lover's genitals.

How?

Start by having the receiving partner lie comfortably on their back. Then, they curl their knees tightly towards their chest, in a compact, ball-like pose. Getting face-to-face with their sweetie’s genitals, the giving partner uses their mouth, tongue and hands, to stimulate all those erogenous zones.

As the giver, try slipping two fingers into your partner’s vagina and gently pressing your fingers towards their belly from the inside.

You can circle your fingers here or simply press against the G-spot (ask your partner what they prefer!) while you lick or suck the clitoris.

If your partner has a penis, you can apply the same technique to pleasure the prostate via the anus – or use your tongue to lick from perineum to shaft (don’t forget the balls!) while your hand rubs the head of their penis. A dash of lube will make this feel even more sensual.

Why?

The receiver is erotically exposed to eyes and wandering hands, while the compact posture encourages a sense of vulnerability and trust, heightening emotional connection.

This vulnerability can feel really erotic, especially if you’re trying anal play for the first time. Just make sure the receiver is clean and gives full consent to rear door entry...

For the giver, the angle allows them to stimulate multiple pleasure points without straining their neck or arms. It's an intense, emotionally intimate position perfect for couples who want to blend raw physical pleasure with affectionate closeness.

Make it even easier

For partners with limited mobility or flexibility, try some simple changes for more comfort (without compromising pleasure)! Use a sturdy wedge pillow or stacked cushions under the receiving partner’s hips to elevate the pelvis and reduce strain on the back and thighs.

Instead of curling tightly, the receiver can gently bend their knees and rest their legs against the giver’s shoulders or sides. The giver can also use a pillow under their chest or elbows for support and to reduce pressure on joints. Keep checking in with each other to find what posture feels right and works best.

Make it even better

To switch things up, you could press a clitoral suction toy, like the ROMP x Lovehoney Switch X, against the clitoris while your tongue darts in and out of the vagina. The Switch X targets the clit with pulses of air; a great way to drive them wild – especially when used in tandem with a skilled tongue!

For receivers with a penis, try teasing by slathering orgasm gel on the penis and letting it tingle while you play with their balls or kiss their feet and inner thighs. If you like taking control, you can forbid them from pleasuring themselves, getting them really aroused before you finally touch their sweet spots.

Make it even kinkier

To add an even kinkier twist, you can use restraints on the receiver’s ankles. Our Fifty Shades of Grey spreader bar will keep the legs apart and immobile, intensifying the vulnerability of the position. It can also help keep the legs in place, which is great if this feels like a physically tricky pose.

Spreader bars can make the receiver feel more submissive while visually opening up the body for an erotic view. The giving partner gains more access and control, heightening dominance and teasing potential. Be confident and let the receiver know they’re in for some wild pleasure – exactly when you let them have it. The spreader bar + a bit of Dom swagger? You’ve got yourself a thrilling power-play scenario!
